EDUCATION
A recipient of the Smith, Gambrell & Russell Law Scholarship, Mr. Jordan earned
his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. He has Bachelor of
Arts degrees in both English and Journalism from UGA and has received numerous academic
honors. He attended the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia
under the Outstanding Scholar Program, and as a 2002 graduate of the Immigration Officer
Basic Training Academy received Certificates of Recognition for both Outstanding
Academic Achievement in Nationality Law and Distinguished Academic Performance.

WYLLY JORDAN, Associate Attorney
EXPERTISE
Mr. Jordan comes to the Firm with over 4 years of immigration law experience and
practices in all areas of U.S. immigration and nationality law. Along with an
in-depth knowledge of enforcement techniques and procedures, Mr. Jordan has drafted
a wide variety of legal documents for immigration related proceedings, including
motions to reopen, motions to reconsider, motions for summary judgment, replies,
support memos, support memos for appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals,
pre-hearing memos, motions to dismiss, memos of law and fact, etc. He has experience
in both client interviewing and intake, including community outreach and the
interviewing of detainees at the Stewart Detention Facility. Mr. Jordan has
familiarity and experience in both family and employment based immigration matters,
and he has hands-on familiarity with the various aspects of deportation, cancellation
of removal, and asylum proceedings. Under the supervision of Immigration and Customs
Enforcement Assistant Chief Counsel, he has presented cases for the government in the
Atlanta Immigration Courts.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Mr. Jordan is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and The National
Immigration Project. He is a former Immigration Inspector for the legacy Immigration
and Naturalization Service at the Atlanta Port of Entry, transitioning into Customs
and Border Protection as a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security.
As a CBP Officer, Mr. Jordan received the Atlanta Port Director's Award for
Professionalism, and he was the first officer in the Atlanta District to receive the
Director of Field Operations' Quarterly Award for Professionalism. He has received
letters of commendation from the Atlanta Port Director, from the Immigration and
Customs Enforcement Special Agent in Charge, and from the Atlanta District Director
of Field Operations. He has completed internships with both Catholic Charities
Immigration Services and ICE Office of the Chief Counsel, and he has also worked
part-time and as a summer associate for Kuck Casablanca LLC.
